Any waitlist success stories?

I have recently been waitlisted at NYCOM. I am very interested in NYCOM's program and would love to have the opportunity to attend this fall. Is the waitlist a good possibility of acceptance at NYCOM? Anyone out there have waitlist success stories or advice for me while im "waiting". I am thinking about sending regular correspondence updating the school with new events academically and professionally ..is this advisable? I want to show continued interest...but I dont want to be a pest . What percentage of classmates got off the waitlist? Thanks in advance for the advice...
