Someone on the forums apparently called Harvard yesterday and they said today was the last day they were sending interview invites.

Yea, I called them yesterday. I'm hoping either I heard/understood wrong, or they didn't get everything out in time, because I heard absolutely nothing today. 👎

ok, that makes two of us... i didnt hear from them either....i wonder if i should be expecting a rejection letter in the mail of email... does anyone know whether they send rejections by email or snail mail?

Most schools send rejection letters by snail mail. I'm guessing it's the same with Harvard.

I called HMS Admissions Office this morning. The last batch of interview invitations will go out today via email.

I spoke to the adcom representative today. She said that if you don't receive an interview invite by the end of today, you'll receive a rejection letter in March. All acceptances and rejections are sent via mail in March.

Hmmm, well if you go an email today and today is supposed to be the last day emails are going out, hope would seem to be dead 🙁. I hope I'm wrong about that.

i interviewed for NP and HST and I was totally turned off by HST. It seemed to me (subtely, of course) like everyone in HST hated their life... way too much class and way too rigidly structured.... longitudinal class organization and problem sets assigned every day (i'm DONE with that, thank you very much)

yeah. when i started the application process, i had thought that as long as the deadlines were made, everything was fine. now i see that chances are SEVERELY limited for later applicants.

Yes, I was also not an August MCATer.

However, my application was submitted in early September and my letters received in late October (though posted on Virtual Evals in August). I was complete in mid-December and received an interview offer around Dec. 19th or so.
