Anybody know how many USC students get into Keck; or med school in general?

I'm 99% sure USC has a dedicated prehealth advising office. Email or visit them!

http://keck.usc.edu/education/md-program/admissions/
Keck Class of 2020
From UCLA-31
From UCB-29
From USC- 26

Around 321 students applied from USC to med school in 15-16
https://www.aamc.org/download/321458/data/factstablea2-7.pdf

Approx. around 26/321 = 8% .. only 8% of applicants from USC got accepted to Keck
Not everyone applied to Keck from USC... but I guess it's lower than 10% for sure.
Not everyone that applies from USC undergrad to Keck and gets accepted will choose to matriculate there. I'm sure their yield suffers a lot from their price compared to UCs.

this looks like those those who attended Keck, not necessarily all those who were accepted

Might give you a good ballpark figure though at least. Eg if half to a third of accepted USC grads chose to remain their for med school, it'd mean a 16-24% admit rate.

Yeah, I guess it's the data for students who are actually attending.
Can't really find info about USC undergrad applicants and marticulants.
Is that info available in MSAR? Then it might be worth buying..

One of my senpais (upperclassmen) here went to USC.

先輩がUSCの出身?
(Senpai is from USC?)

Nichijou guy, if you don't mind me asking, which med school is it? Is it Keck?

Unfortunately MSAR lists this as "NA"!
Thank you very much.
It's worth buying either way. I was asking too much for MSAR :D
It is "MS Admission Requirement" after all hehe

Love Keck, got in there after going to undergrad at USC, but went elsewhere for medical school due to the outrageous tuition. Glad to be back for residency, now they pay me. :)

I'd say USC usually has about 330 undergrads apply to medical school. About 50-60 get into Keck and 30 matriculate on an average year. The real weeder is the the intro courses; chem, bio, ochem, mobio. About 900 undergrads usually start out "premed" and around 600 drop by the end of Sophomore year. Gotta be able to withstand some pretty intense competition to even make it to applying to medical school.

He went to USC undergrad but is in my med school located in the Midwest (answers your second question in your OP).

Selamat pagi.
