anybody out of state interview at VCU/MCV yet?

i got an update from them saying that they are interested in me as a candidate and will interview candidates of my priority score when they can. anybody out of state get an outright interview yet? or is my update standard procedure before an interview is offered? thanks

I got the invite 9/8 and am a CA resident.

I got an interview invite at the end of Aug. (was complete the first week of Aug). I interviewed last week. I'm from WV and I don't have super stats.
