dont panic i think very few people read lippincot even during their BDS, i guess biochemistry is no ones fav. use it as a refernce book for the topics u dont feel confident, its impractical to go through theory books now if scoring in a mcq exam like NBDE-1 is ur aim in short time, its ok if u r planning for a schedule spanning 6-7 months before exams.

best of luck and study whichever way makes u feel confident not because someone else is following other pattern/ books. definitely these are standard books so one is going to say dont read it.
