Hey there for anyone accepted to USC or another CA schools, can you tell me what where your stats...gpa, mcat, etc? Thanks!

3.5 (3.4 sci, 3.6 other)/30M, lots of EC's (mostly music), good clinical and volunteer experience, strong LOR's and essays, no research.
 
you can't really get much out of my cummulative gpa so i'll break things down.

1992-1994 (Community College) - 2.54 That is right! Some people just like to party a little.
1997-1999 (City College of San Francisco) - 3.98
1999-2001 (UC Berkeley B.S.) - 3.85

MCAT (Summer 1999) 9V,12P,11B,R

Honor's Research, volunteer work at a homeless clinic and at a preventive medicine research institute, tutored organic chem and physio, 5 solid LORs, and a good personal statement.

Rejected pre-secondary - UC Davis
Rejected post-secondary - UCLA, UCSD, Stanford
Accepted off alternate list - UC Irvine
Outright accepted - UCSF
(didn't apply to USC).

I know of one guy who got into UCI and UCLA with a 7, 11, 11 and a 4.0/3.95 GPA from UCLA. White male with experience as a registered nurse. Another female on here (BeckyG) got into UCSF with a 29 on the MCAT.
 
I got into UCI and UCD with a 3.74 from UCSD and a balanced 30R MCAT.

Out of State applicant.

Rejected post-secondary from UCSF, UCLA, and Stanford.
Acceptances to USC and some non-CA schools like Hopkins and UMichigan.

Didn't apply to UCI, UCSD, or UCD.
 
A couple friends of mine got into UCLA and UCSF.

Both CA residents.

Friend #1:
4.0 GPA (at mid-tier undergrad)
36 MCAT
Top research pubs, some volunteer work
Acceptances to UCSF and UCLA

Friend #2:
4.0 GPA
37 MCAT
Minimal research, lots of community service
Waitlisted at UCSF, Accepted to UCLA

Friend #3:
~3.8 GPA
40 MCAT
Good research, some leadership too
Accepted to UCLA, UCSF, UCSD.
