Hello guys!
For those of you who did a year of CO-OP, I am just wondering how much does experience in CO-OP (working in acadamic/industrial lab) actually help the application process?
I am doing a Biochemistry degree and have an option to do a 16 months work term in labs. I would like to do CO-OP ONLY if it really help my dental application process. I don't need the $ since I have a pretty good paid part time job right now and don't see myself doing research and lab work as my future career. Is it worth it to stay back for a application cycle to do CO-OP just to better make my application looks better?
I know I have to make the ultimate decision. I am just looking for your guys's advices. any inputs are welcome. Thanks!
