I'm about to start counting the weeks. I am pumped and ready to go! It just doesn't seem real that this time last year I was swimming in my own sweat trying to get an application together and taking the DAT. I would just like to tell everyone applying this year that there does indeed appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I love dental school, and I'm not even there yet!

(Just thought I'd share my joy on my boring work day)

hmmm... how about 'i love being accepted into dental school' rather than 'i love dental school?' i'm not sure if you know what you will be facing in the coming years.

Enjoy your time off, You do not know what you are in store for. I still remember my first semester with 2 -3 exams per week starting the 3rd week in september until the end of the semester. I still remember the 9 courses Biochem, Histology, Craniofacial development and genetics, Nutriton, Dental anatomy, Dental lab sciences part 1, Behavioral sciences, Introduction to Dentistry and biomaterials. I think it was something crazy like 30 credit hours.

Honestly, the light at the end of the tunnel is when you pass your state board exam and get your license!

Congratulations on getting accepted, I hope everything goes well.

Me too, I can't wait to start my classes and I always wish the best for the ppl who are applying to get accepted.

Well, 😛 all you party poopers.

Just kidding

I'm just excited about starting. But perhaps you're right and I'm getting ahead of myself. Oh well. Who cares!

But bring it on! I'm ready for you biochem. I'm ready for you histo. I'm ready for you gross anatomy, oh wait, no I'm not. AHHHH!

Ok, enough graemlins for now. Good luck everyone.

I just got my award letter & orientation schedule in the mail. I sent off for my school emblemed scrubs.

I am getting more excited as each day passes. This will be the best part. Stress is cool.

Best of luck to all my future colleagues.

sorry to poop on your party racemic . but i agree that the summer before dental school was the best. i'll always remember how secure i felt that i was finally accepted into a dental school. after school starts, you'll wish you were back where you are now, just waiting for school to start.

I have to agree with everyone on the excitement for school to start and the great feeling of knowing you have been accepted, but at the same time it seems like the calm before the storm, I have a feeling the first semester and possibly the whole four years is going to be a very tough haul. But hey lets enjoy it while we can and bust a## when we start school, good luck to everyone, we are going to need it!!

Moving a family of 4 across the country, buying a house across the country, getting loans lined up, passing on my job, finishing up my research!!!!

I am ready for the simplicity of study...test, study...test.

I would enjoy the calm more if it was calm.
