Hi, I was very surprised to receive a very generous scholarship offer at Western U. I didn't even know it or apply for it. I just got a letter in the mail from them saying that they are offering me this scholarship. This is a free scholarship, meaning no future obligation or string attached(Not the Armed Force, WICHE, or National Health Corp. Scholarships). I am just SO thrilled! I have already liked Western U. when I interviewed there. This offer has definitely made the Western U. very very attactive. It shows that they do care about students, and is doing their best to help students.
I am just wondering if they give out scholarships to everyone got accepted so far to attract students, or am I just so lucky?!
Put aside the financial matter, I am still interviewing and trying to decide on which school I like the best. Is it OK to tell other schools that about this offer, and see if they would match it? How to do it skillfully? Any suggestions? Thanks!
