Anyone else getting rejections galore?

In the past 4 days, I've gotten three rejections and I think more will come very soon. They're really piling in now. I'm up to 9!

I received 3 or 4 in the past few months. The silence is killing me. If all of my perspectives are going to reject me (again), i wish it would just happen. I need to get on with my life.....and figure out what to do to make my next application shine.

Oh ya, I mean i have gotten TONs im up to around 9 as well. if ur a drinker do what i do and have a drink for each one. so when u get ur 9th one.. u go out and have 9 drinks.. it has worked to keep me sane. I have been out of town and i hade 3 waiting for me here so that puts me up to 9 i belive so next time i go out its not gonna be pretty

god... i must have applied to the wrong schools. out of 25 schools i've only received 5 rejections.

nothing for months and now they're rolling in. I may mod podge them to a vase or a candle holder.

Hm...9 pre-interview rejection letters here as well. Though, I haven't received one in like two months....I can't imagine all of a sudden Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Penn, UVa, Sinai, NYU, Baylor, USC, Tufts, Wake Forest and GW aren't on their way. They have, after all, had five months to consider the folly of my application...

i say we should all keep our rejection letters (I have 4 myself) and gather up collectively all of them on this forum, then send them back to each school in big envelopes with a middle finger on the back of the package.

I actually sent my Hershey "you suck you're on hold-don't ever contact us again, we are too scared to flat-out reject you" letter back when I withdrew from the school.

hahahaha...you guys are hilarious! I like the drinking solution. I would gather up my rejections, but I threw them all away. So, far UCSF has the nicest one. They almost made me feel special for being a reject.

The three I got recently: UCSF , Pritzker, & Cornell.

I sent a letter of interest to Emory, but I st ill haven't heard anything. (Actually, I don't really know if it's my top choice anymore....) But if I get rejected, I would love to send a huge truck full of Pepsi to the admissions committee 😀

What schools have you guys gotten rejections from? Has anyone gotten rejected pre-interview from: finch, gw, jefferson, drexel, meharry, nymc, penn state, temple, tufts, umdnj-rwj or wright state? just wondering which schools string you along until the very end

I have actually gotten interviews from nymc and drexel. It did take them about 2 or 3 months after they received my secondary to do so though. But I guess you could say these schools will eventually get back to you. Penn State gave me a "hold for interview".

post-secondary rejections: darthmouth, ucsf, ucd, stanford

Stanford still hasn't sent me the thin letter. It's driving me nuts. Just send the damn thing. God.

I'm not that hopeful - my apps have all been complete since july/august and not a word. I called drexel - is anybody else in the pre-interview category "hold - will review in the spring". I heard their interview schedule is booked until march already, and I feel that if they really meant to review me in the spring, they'd be all done with interviews by then.

northwestern is already sending out rejections - trust me 😉
