Anyone else invited to the Nova Info Sessions on Oct 30th?

Just curious because I'm wondering what attire is appropriate. Says deans and admissions personnel will be there... Should I go in my full-blown formal business attire or something nice, but a little more laid back? It's on a Sunday...

So you think nice pants and a nice shirt is enough? I'm definitely wearing my suit to the interview... but at the bottom it specifically says admissions people and the deans will be there. Does anyone else know??

I don't know enough about Nova to know if a Jan 27th interview is a bad sign... I'd think that the fact that they scheduled your interview is a good sign. Sure, it's after Dec 1st, but they still want to meet you. I wouldn't worry. My DAT teacher was a first year at Nova and he said he didn't even take his DAT until December so you can imagine his interview was even later than Jan... you get the idea....

Dental Mom, I received an invitation with my AADSAS address label on it. So I assume it was sent out to all current applicants. When are you applying?

I definitely think nice pants and a shirt should work. I'm not sure how to handle this thing as far as meeting the deans and admissions people...I mean, are they going to start judging us even before the interview? I'm starting to get nervous. I don't want to make a bad impression or look lost. I hope the purpose of this is just to give us info...not to see what we're like as a pre-interview evaluation.

I'm planning on graduating in about 3 yrs. I tranfered from another state and lost a lot of credits. That's OK, I want my current 2.5 yr old to be in Kinderg. by the time I start dental school.

I wish I had the time to work in a dental office. Will do that later. For now, I need more time for school and my kids. So enjoy it for me chica! AAAHHHH the smell of a dental office.....sweet! 😍
