Anyone got MCAT scores back yet?

Did anyone receve their scores? Shouldnt already be here? It's 6 weeks!

I put up a post asking about this, and most replies seem to indicate that they come 60 +/- 2 days after the test. 60 days will be the 17th... I've been counting!

I thought you were just talking about any old MCAT...cuz I got mine back from the April and August MCAT in 2000 a long time ago..

They are so totally realistic about that 60 days thing. I got my April scores back then.

I actually got my April scores about in about 55 days. Anyway, I'm sure this board will light up when they start to trickle out.

judging from pre-hawk doc's location (IA City, IA ... MCAT country) and the time when he got his back (55 days) i would venture to guess us folks will get them friday or saturday and those on the coasts can set up a pup tent by the mailbox over the weekend and camp out there. just my guess. I took the exam in April, and I also wondered when the heck I would get my scores and if it really was going to take 60 days. I can only remember that it did not arrive earlier than 60 days - in fact it was pretty darn close - 61 maybe? It's tough to wait, people always told me, don't worry, you'll forget about it for a while and then they'll arrive in the mail. But I honestly don't think there was a day that it didn't at least cross my mind. And then, finally, when the scores came, it seemed like it hadn't been that long after all. Kind of anti-climactic actually. But I guess my message is, you're almost there! You've been waiting this long, you'll get them before you know it, and then you can all breathe a huge sigh of relief! Good luck!

the 17th is around the corner? i can't wait. do you know how long it will take for the submitted schools to recieve the scores. my supplemental applications are just waiting for my scores.

Received my score back on June 16.
Was postmarked June 13 on the envelope

Well guys, it sounds like we just added another 2+ weeks to our wait. SMW hooked us up hardcore! I feel so anxious. I need some closure/peace of mind. With what is going on in the "real world" I feel bad about putting so much thought into the MCAT. Maybe its an escape (A crappy one). You guys have been a great support, thanks for listening to me vent.

Here's an alternative scenario, posted in response to attacks on me when I posted my info on the "other" forum. Why I bother going to TPR at all is another question. 🙄 But finally, after several negative responses, someone there had something sensible to say!

"OK, here's what's going to happen (looking into my crystal ball - it never lies):
MCAT scores have been sent to and received by AMCAS.
MCAT scores will be sent to us on Friday. We will receive these scores next week.
AMCAS, in keeping with their past, will take a bit longer. They will post the scores on the app on the week of the 22nd.
Schools may or may not get the scores before us. These scores will be reported at the same time ours are mailed. Whether the school gets it first depends on travel time. WOW, it makes sense!!!"

Seems plausible to me. 🙂

I hate to be a pain but I have a question for you. Did that person think we were going to get the scores next week (as in the week of the 15th)and that they were getting mailed Friday (tomorrow)? Am I off by a week? Also, I thought AMCAS was the same entity that handled the MCAT scoring. If they are matching scores to SS#'s now we are doomed! Look at how well they are matching transcripts

I would venture to guess that the scores will be sent out of IA (MCAT Headquarters). Having AMCAS mail scores out doesn't make sense b/c:
a. not everyone taking the MCAT will be applying through DUMBAS (PAs, DOs, Canadians, people who took it for their own enjoyment) and can't have numbers matched up.

b. everyone knows that a monkey **** fight in a zoo is more organized than AMCAS this year.

I have to agree -- although schools recieve our MCAT scores through SCAMCAS (if they chose to use that service) as i understand it, our scores are sent to us directly from the MCAT people, bypassing SCAMCAS entirely. Of course, if for some reason you don't get postal service or your dog eats your mail before you come home, you may have to resort to waiting for the scores to appear on your application, which sounds like would happen the week of the 22nd.

I am so nervous about my scores...I keep remembering some of the mistakes that I made...oh well, hopefully it won't be as bad as I am expecting! 🙂
