Anyone have any luck applying to visiting rotations after the application open date?

Hello,

I am looking at a number of elective rotations on VSAS for my 4th year rotations and I have noticed a number of them opened up on 3/15/2020. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck getting an audition/elective rotation applying a week after the applications were open for submission? Should I just save my money and move on to the next ones on my list? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
