Anyone hear from Mt. Sinai recently?

From the other Sinai threads, it seems like they email acceptances within 4-6 weeks and mail waitlist/reject letters much later. I interviewed there Jan. 11, and haven't heard anything so I was wondering if anyone's heard from them recently (and if so, when'd you interview?)?

I heard back on the 24th of january and interviewed on the 9th of jan

interviewed on Jan 18 and no word yet. I think we should be hearing sometime in the next two weeks. they said that they review apps every 6 weeks. We are supposed to hear by the end of February for sure...

Feb 3rd.... Yeah, I'm not the model applicant as far as punctuality goes.

my friend interviewed yesterday and they told him that he was at the 4th week of the 6 week cycle. so that means we could have at least two more weeks of waiting...

HAs Mt. Sinai started sending out pre-interview rejections? I was complete in November and haven't heard anything. This is pretty much a rejection, right?

"I'm sure Kathy told you a little about our notification process but to reiterate... a decision will be made on your application by the end of the month [i interviewed in February]. If you are accepted, we will send you an e-mail before March 1st, followed by a formal letter of acceptance. If you are offered a spot on our waitlist or if we determine that we won't have room at all, you'll receive a letter in the mail towards the middle of March. Our waitlist is a very active part of our rolling admissions process. If you have any questions as to how that works, please let me know."

Does anyone know how big the Mt Sinai wait list is? It seems they did not accept many people. How many are usually taken off this wl?

My mom called me today and said that our caller id at home (in nyc, many states away from me) showed that someone from the mt. sinai admissions office called me this morning! No idea what it means.

Actually, it was mt. sinai administration, and I called admissions this mornin' (tuesday) and they said they don't know who called me so it's a mystery...

i called this am and they said that they haven't finished sending out decisions on jan. interviews. sooo, i guess we wait some more.
