I interviewed early November, and have heard 0. So I called about a week ago and this lady just casually says 'oh...they're going to look at you early January so expect to hear something...mid-January.'
Just to give my moment of complaining, I think it is more than ridiculous to have to wait this long. They have everything they need and the interview information--waiting ANYTHING longer than 4 weeks at absolute max does not make any sense to me. Can anybody possibly figure out what could take so long to just review someone? I know someone from my undergrad who got her acceptance 3 weeks post interview and interviewed mid-October. Here I am going on 8 weeks now, and I haven't even been reviewed. My interviewers were all smiley and said how great I am too, but nothing. Even if it's bad news, these people should realize how much each individual decision matters to each person, especially in-state students who want to go there, and get those decisions out as early as they can.
...And of course, going by what the lady I talked to said, it looks like even if I get in I'll be missing that Jan. 6 luncheon since I'll be reviewed 'in early January' anyway let alone get an acceptance. That probably goes for the rest of you who have not heard from them at this point in time.
