Anyone heard from Drew - post interview?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
when did you interview at drew? from the sheet they gave us on saturday, it said about 6 weeks for any notice.....but some people on sdn said it was much longer....

I interviewed on March 1st, so I definitely have longer to wait, but I just wanted to see if they are actually following the six week time schedule and if a lot of acceptances have gone out!

uclamendoza, did she give any new info regarding admissions during your interview, or are they still saying they will interview between 250-265 people? Thanks!

dr. miller said that they interview about 215 students and accept about 50 to fill the class of 24......other than that, he said that it might be about 3 weeks for our group, which kinda confused me since the sheet said 6 weeks for review and people on sdn have waited longer than 6 weeks.........anyways, good luck with the process.....i hope you hear good news soon.

Hey Jayzway, I interviewed at Drew on MAr 22nd as well and the stats I heard were that they interview 215 and accept 48....So it's like 1 out of 5. Hang in there!

You two have just improved my chances by cutting down the number interviewed! Yeah! That is so cool. That would also be awesome if you could hear back in just three weeks!

Thanks for the info! 🙂

It's been @ 6 weeks for me (interviewed Feb 8) and still no word. Any SDNer there on Feb 8?

Can someone explain what the drew program actually is? I assume its for applicants who wish to practice in the underserved areas of the states. Is this correct? Does the program favor cali residents, etc? thanks
