I got an e-mail that my app was complete on 1/8, which is really odd, since everything was turned in by November.

Did she get a phone call? Omg as I was typing this, the phone rang with a long distance number on caller ID. But it was for my roommate. 🙁

I interviewed at Hopkins during late September, and they said I would hear back from them one way or another in mid-November. By mid-December I had heard nothing and decided to call the admissions office - turns out I was placed on the waitlist - they said they had sent out a letter, but the letter never reached my residence! If I had not called, I don't think I would have found out anything for a few months...so my advice to you is to give the admissions office a polite phone call in a couple of weeks if you still haven't heard anything - I think that Hopkins is pretty good about truly being a "rolling" admissions institution. I wish you the very best of luck!

Does anyone know if there's a lot of movement off their "high waitlist" and when people usually get in off that?
