I'm applying to the 2 state schools in SC and was wondering if anyone else out there has applied? If so, what are thier typcial stats for admission, and do you have any advice?

I am just bumping this up for you. I am actually applying to MUSC and SC Med for some research experience during the summer time....

I also applied to MUSC. Everything has been complete since Oct/Nov and I still have not heard anything from them.

I have interviewed at USC and MUSC. Both schools have an average of 28-29 for the MCATS. I don't know what the average GPA is, but it's probably 3.6-3.7. The real difference between the schools is the class size and campus size. USC takes around 75 and MUSC takes 140. Have you visited either campus yet?
