Anyone is currently in Gyn ONcology or Radiation Oncology

If you are or you know someone is in either one, or you have some insights into these specialties, would you like to share here? In particular, i'm interested in the difficulty to obtain residency/fellowship in these. What about the workload, work schedule, its significance in medicine, salary, and potential job placement (i.e, private practice or hospital/university-affiliated?)

Do a search in the this forum (Rotations and Residencies) for radiation oncology. There are some very informative posts. You can try the same for gyn onc, who are much more like surgeons than OB / GYNS.
