    hey,

    this is not really a med related posts...but what the heck. anyone know of some funny songs about biology/anatomy/physiology? I recently heard haywood bank's 'pacreas' in a physiology class. i thought it was hilarious.

    I heard this really long song describing the TCA cycle in GREAT detail in biochem awhile back. Can't remember who sang it, but it was really old. Wish I still had the lyrics! Maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about.

    We listened to them and sang along in class... My favorite was the enzyme kinetics one (the derivation of the Michaelis/Menten laws to the tune of "Oh Christmas Tree").

    You can tell you're a science nerd when... ;)

    Hey, we used to sing Physics Carols in high school right before Xmas break...it was something of a legend. If I still have the lyrics, I'll post 'em.

    But actually (and I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the actual biology of this) Phish's "Golgi Apparatus" comes to mind.

    A techno song called 'Aorta'? Wow...

    Our biochem prof had a whole collection of them on CD. I found them hillarious... I'll try and get the CD from him on Monday, and I'll upload them somewhere. :D

    Now, off to mp3.com. :p
