The students I talked to at WashU said they were notified in late November, early December. The admissions lady said sometime before April 15.

for those who already scheduled their interviews at WashU, how long did it take for them to give you a confirmation? i'm trying to book travel plans, but haven't heard back from them.

i did my interview scheduling over e-mail and i got the confirmation the same day...later in teh afternoon. i got 2 e-mails...something giving more details on the interview and another RSVP e-mail. hope that helps!

I believe U of Chicago said the decisions would be made in about 4 weeks from the interview date. They'll call up EVERYONE to tell him/her if it's waitlisted or accepted (They rarely right out reject people)
