I want it but I want to use my not-yet-existant book allowance to get it. Should I spring for it anyway?

That is about as cheap as you're going to find it. If you have a book allowance I might wait though. Of course you need to get the big 20 pound version, but that is usually provided by the program or your allowance.

If you wait, you will probably find a drug rep that will have copies. I know that all of our residents have essentially received them from drug reps.

you're doing the "FP in the ED" thing this month, remember? so don't worry about "Tintinalli" or "Toxicology" or "Emergency Medicine Procedures" or anything like that. just go with your "FP Pocket Guide" and what feels good at the time.
