Anyone remember the movie "Getting In"

hey, does anyone remember this movie? it came out like 13 years ago and it's about some guy who gets waitlisted at Hopkins (he's no. 7) med school and tries to bribe the people ahead of him on the list to get off. The no. 6 guy (from princeton) goes nuts and kills the other 5 and frames no. 7. pretty funny movie starring calista flockhart, matthew perry, dave chapelle, kristy swanson, and andrew mccarthy. makes fun of premeds and stereotypes at a few well-known elite schools.

Never heard of it (but then 13 years ago I was 8)...sounds like a good rental for one of those nights when I can't do another minute of work. Not to mention that I was just waitlisted at one of my top choices. Hee hee hee....

People should see this movie because it is so funny. I still remember the part of the movie where Gabriel goes to interview at Hopkins; that and the ending where we finally find out what happens to one of those people on the waitlist.

I had forgotten about that movie - it's from 1994, though, not 1988. I highly recommend that everyone who is waitlisted go rent it.
