i still maintain, in agreement with bald, that it *really* depends on what these particular courses are like at your particular school, so none of us here can really help you out that much. it's not an issue necessarily of being able to handle more than one science course at a time nor is it necessarily indicative of your ability to handle med school. there isn't as much of a weed-out mentality in med school, where you're pretty much on your own to set your own pace regarding how much you want to learn (since most med schools are pass/fail). it's more about how demanding these particular courses are at your college and how well you will be able to do grade-wise taking both simultaneously, because the bottom line is that you need to do well in these two courses. i took physics along with two upper-level biology courses plus a reading-intensive literature course every quarter for an entire year and still found that schedule to be considerably less demanding than my orgo/bio year. so ask around at your school and see how other people handle it. sure, people get through it if they have to, but you need to ensure that you get it done grade-wise.
