The Canadian version has 4 parts - Chem, Bio, Writing and Sculpture - each marked out of 30 I believe. Is this the same as the US DAT? From what I read, I think the Canadian and US DAT's are different.

Has anyone taken the Canadian version? How did you find it? Any tips or advice?

Cheers!

No the US DAT is different. There is a Natural Science section that is broken down into Bio, Chem, and Organic Chem. Then there is a Reading Comprehension section. Then there is a PAT section which is the Perceptual Ability Test probably similar to the sculpture section on the canadian test. Then finally the Quantitative Reasoning section which is pretty much algebra.

BTW, where do i sign up for this canadian DAT?

Just in case you didn't know, it's reading.

I have taken the canadian version AND the us version. Personally I liked the canadian DAT better because I hated organic chem but loved carving. (I got 27 on the carving part) But I don't think it's that important. I heard someone got in with 14 on carving. Overall difficulty was about the same.

Here is the website for the Canadian DAT registration.
