Has anyone received an interview invite from U Penn that's not EDP? Has anyone heard from UVA who is not a state resident or EDP applicant?

I'm a non-VA resident and received an interview invite from them about a week and a half ago.

I'm out of state for UVA and had my interview about ten days ago.

How were you all notified for UPenn and UVA? Do you all have 35+ MCAT and 3.8+ GPA?

Penn's first interview day is Oct 6th and something like 100 invites (not EDP) have already been sent for the first couple dates. More to come obviously...

i hope my mediocre/low MCAT helps people feel they have a chance at great schools! i also got interviews at Columbia and Georgetown!

AMEN to that! I also got an interview at UPenn (nonED)

29Q, 3.8 GPA, tons of extracurricular/volunteer/research experience.

Now, I'm a very realistic person - I'm sure my chances are of actually getting accepted may not be as high as someone with way above average MCAT score/GPA. Nevertheless, I've gotten this far, and this just goes to show that the numbers really aren't everything AT ALL. I hope others with similar stats can also see this and feel that they have just as good of a chance of getting interviews at great schools as the next person. 🙂

I got an interview invite from UVA (I'm out of state) and my stats are not "amazing" by any means...32S and 3.81 GPA.
