I figure on using one to study for step 2, so should I just get it for a year, or are they not that helpful for the shelf exams?

What subjects do they cover?

I'm kinda curious about this too. Can you sign up for questions banks and use them all year?

You can get USMLEworld step 2 Qbank for a year for $400

is buying the Qbank subscription useful for third year board exams though?

I've often thought of this as I sat at the nurse's station all night waiting for my patient to freakin' deliver her baby!

I used the Kaplan QBook for Step 2 CK (bought at my local Barnes and Noble) to study for my shelf exams. I thought that it was a huge help. The tests are arranged by subject, and I thought that they were written in a similar style to the shelf questions. The amount of detail needed to answer the questions correctly was similar to the shelf as well

i bought usmleworld for a year and am using it for my shelfs. I thought its content was pretty consistent with the actual exam. I get my scores back this week, so i dont know how i actually did.
