Anyone w/ low GPA apply late and get in?

I know I'm taking a risk by applying late this year especially since my GPA is low (2.9 overall, 2.8 science) but I really want to ensure that I score well on the DAT. I'm thinking about taking my DAT in mid-October. Has anyone gotten in when applying late?

mcataz, it is possible, but you might want to take the test earlier and play the odds abit more that way.

If push it back any later than mid-October you'll run into the holiday season, which can really stink for applicants. Schools sometimes don't view applications during the latter part of November, and then they typically break for the Christmas/New Years time period as well.

Because you GPA is so low, you've really got to do well on the DAT. I think you can do GREAT with only one month of studying, so keep that in mind. You'd be MUCH better off taking it in mid-September!
