I lost my interview invite letter grr...

What time are you supposed to be at the medical school? What room are you supposed to go to? What time does the day end?

Also I don't have the list of nearby hotels....does anyone know of any good ones next to the school. My interview is this friday so if anyone can help I would really appreciate it!

Thanks

9am....go to the admissions office...you have to sign in and they'll point you ot the conference room. how are u going to get there if u lost the letter? hopefully u didn't lose the little pamphlet they give.

about half the candidates for that day were there by 8:30 and they didn't actually start til like 9:30. you are free to leave once you are done with both of your interviews are done. most people did not stay for the PIL session at 2:30pm. Everyone just wanted out.

The day ends at about 3PM. Some of the nearby places they have on the pamphlet are the following:
Bed and Breakfast (Walking Distance to the School)

Falls Inn
Joe and Tish Gembala
215-843-8926

Parson's Corner Bed and Breakfast
Bill and Martha deHeyman
215-842-3300

These are both about a block away from the campus.

HOpe that's helpful!

those hotels may be booked already. you'll have to search for the comfort inn or hampton inn in center city philadelphia if thats the case.(via their respective websites)

when i interviewed i tried to get those walking distance hotels with about 15 days advance notice and they were already booked up.

i just booked mine with the parson's corner b&b sun. afternoon for my interview this coming fri. another one is

indian queen inn
julie margulies
3603 indian queen lane
215.844.1933

Thanks for all your help! The letter was sent to my house and my Mom lost it! Hopefully I can find a room in one of those hotels nearby.

they have a student hosting program, but you have to call the school up to find out about it & it's probably too late at this point.

i stayed at the holiday inn city line. it's a bit more expensive than the b&b's (and a bit farther away), but if the b&b's aren't available it's a good option. they have a free shuttle in the morning that takes about 10 minutes. you have to reserve it in advance.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn city line too, its an ok place and the shuttle is nice and its right on a busline that takes you into center city.

If you desperately need the little booklet thing, I can scan it and email it to you, I'm bored.

if u are in center city there is also a shuttle(the university's shuttle) from the hahnemann hospital. the stop is across the street in front of the hospital's parking garage.

Falls Inn was a neat place to stay. They raise Vishlas and have really precocious kids.
