AP credit for required courses

I was wondering if anyone knew how strict admissions committees are about accepting AP credit for required course work that was used on a credit/no credit basis. It's an ambiguous question but I was a little concerned if its frowned upon it or they don't accept it at all i.e won't look at my application. I used AP credit earned in high school only for 2 english courses in lit and comp but appears on my transcript only as CR (for credit earned). Most of the schools that require 2 english courses state that all required course work be taken at an accredited university, etc. on a non pass-fail basis. Should I be worried at all? Thanks for any input.

many schools have differing policies regarding AP credits to fulfill pre-reqs.
they usually have the policies stated on their website.
