Hey I just got a 5 on the AP calculus test. The test covers my math requirement for my undergrad, but I am trying to decide if I should take Calculus on campus just for applying to med schools. I have heard that some med schools do not accept AP tests for the calculus pre-req's. What have you heard? What should I do?

To be absolutely safe and not limit your opportunities, you'll need to do one of two things: either retake calc at your institution, or take six more hours of advanced math (probably calc 3 and differential equations). Most med schools won't care that your calc is from AP credit, but some do.

Take Calc 2 and 3 and you'll be fine
