hi psingh, i know that its important to know what is asked in the exams. but let me tell u that before u give nb1 u are asked not to disclose the questions , and if u do, the ADA will prosecute u if they come to know of it. ur best bet is go thru released papers.
mkot
p.s.: i dont know how many people consider it safe to disclose the ques and r willing to take a risk

I agree with mkot.
The released papers and the decks pretty much cover all the topics extensively so refering to them thoroughly is an ideal way of doing well.

I have a question. My friend has just finished her Dental school out of the US. When she comes over here, does she have to retake some courses? Apply to dental School again 😱 ? Or take the Board part 1 and Part 2? And an equilvance test? Thanks for your help. 🙂

I know for Pharmacist in other countries have to just take the equilvance exam plus the law. Wasn't sure about Dentistry.

Hi Bronco

Your friend, like everybody else on this "International Dental Forum", has to do a 2-3 year Advanced Standing Program for foreign trained dentists if she/he wants to practise dentistry in the States. Most of the schools require the applicants to just take the NDBE Part I. However, there are a few that require both parts in order to apply for their Advanced Standing Program. Your friend MUST write at least Part I and the TOEFL before applying for the program. If you read the many previous posts on this forum, especially the "Sticky" threads, you'll find a great deal of information regarding the exam, and the different schools that offer the Advanced Standing Program. In general, this program has become highly competitive to get in. Getting a good score in Part I (I'd say at least 85 or even 90 for some schools) is necessary to get accepted by a lot of the schools that offer the program. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info! I wish you the best in your future in dentistry. 🙂
