If you have strong reasons for wanting to attend a certain school or if your application has changed between filing your app and receiving a letter of rejection, is it worth it to appeal the decision? Since filing my application I've had 3 publications and recieved A's in summer biochem classes. I am a bit upset about one of my rejections and am seeking advice from anyone on this forum on 1) how to write an appeal (format--write in letter form to the dean or just write in essay style) 2) if appealing a decision will have any negative bearing on an application if the applicant reapplies in the next cycle.

thanks.
