Application email and word

I just had a couple quick questions about the application process. I have heard that certain emails do not work well with the spam in different school systems. I have heard that GMAIL works the best to put on applications. Does this matter? Also, Is it ok to type the personal statement on word and copy and paste it over to the AMCAS application? Just wanted to check on this. Thanks

Hi Ausmil,

I created a brand new yahoo email address and it has worked great for me. Regarding the copy and paste, I actually did that but BE SURE to GO BACK after pasting and see that the format can be read. Fix ur paragraphs and make sure that no word or symbol was changed into a different format during the "copy paste" process.

Hi Ausmil... good luck with your application process! As you have additional questions and/or just want to chat about the process, I think you'll find a much higher volume of people to post with on the PRE-allo board. Most of the students posting on this one are already in med school.
