No, it's not too late. Interviews can be granted as late as January. Now is the time programs are likely starting to have more interview cancellations, opening up more spots.

Send an email expressing your interest (1 email, not multiple) as soon as possible. It's a long shot, but it might put you on their radar for one of these newly opened slots. You have absolutely nothing to lose.
