OK. Has/is anyone else having this problem with their application??? Under "coursework", when I enter the year and semester/quarter, the ACTUAL year that appears on the application is one year BEFORE the year I entered! What's up with this!!?? I'm not sure what to do. If I enter the following year, I get the right one on the app.

Any suggestions??

i just worked around that. if you took the course in 2000, just type 2001 and this should solve the problem..it worked for me

This is actually not a glitch. It's supposed to appear like this. Read the instructions more carefully and you'll notice that you're supposed to enter the calendar year of when you took the course (I think, it's been a year since I applied so doublecheck). AMCAS automatically converts it for you.

Ah, what the heck, here are the official instructions:

Select from the designated drop down menu the calendar year when you first began the course (the first day of class) in the calendar year field. AMCAS will automatically convert to the appropriate AMCAS Academic Year. For example, a course taken during the Spring term of the 2000 calendar year will be reflected by the application (after translation) as having been taken in the 1999 AMCAS Academic Year (sometimes referred to as the 1999-2000 academic year).

Very cool, guys. Thanks a lot.

My fiancee' wanted me to let you know that she told me this and I didn't believe her!
