Last week when I talked and asked the AADSAS people, applications for fall 2002 is still in the high 5000s. That's not that many for being the end of January as ALL dental schools stop accepting AADSAS application on March 1, 2002.

Let's say hypothetically that are 6500 AADSAS applicants for 4200 seats in fall 2002, that's a 65 % acceptance rate!!! Wouldn't that be nice!!
😎

Thanks for the encouraging news. I am currently on hold at two schools. I know there are a few seats left. The admissions committee is waiting to make any more final decisions until Mar. 10. They want to finish interviewing thru Feb. I just kinda get the feeling they are keeping me, while hoping something better comes along. It really starts to eat away at your self confidence after a while. Well, keep us updated.

Let me quote exactly what one of the schools said "We continue to consider you for a position while we complete our interview cycle. We continue to interview applicants through Feb. and we anticipate having most offers of admission made by Mar. 10." I thought my first reply might be misleading so I included exactly what they wrote me. Doesn't it sound like they will not offer any more acceptances until they finish interviewing?
