Applied late and scared interview slots are filled

okay, i applied EDP and was deferred into the regular applicant pool. i have since applied to 20 other schools and am waiting to be called for interview. i am concerned that most schools are filling up all their interview slots already. what dates are most schools up to already? January? wont this put me at a serious disadvantage? im pretty seriously worried about this.
