Apply to how many schools?

Hi-
I was wondering if anyone would like to share how many schools they applied to? I am debating everyday- increasing and decreasing the number of schools.... Thanx!

A rule of thumb: apply to ALL schools that are in you'r state.

Since i live in PA, i applied to all 6 PA MD schools. My total came to 25. But that is a little too much. 15 is a good number.

It also depends on what kind of grades/mcat/ec u have. 15ish is good.
