apply to med school w/o an MCAT early decision

I wanna apply to med schools this July but I will be taking my mcat in late August. There is one school that I really wanna attend so I'm gonna apply as early as possible (early decision appl) 2010 year cycle. My question is do school even consider students w/o mcats ? I mean they will be recieveing my mcats scores a month later anyways so it doent make much of a difference but again I dont really know how the system works. Anyone?

Is the school Stanford by any chance? Yes, you can submit an application without the MCAT, but you wont be reviewed as early/or be as competitive.

You'd be getting your scores back in late september, which is too late for early decision programs. Your file won't be considered without a score, period.

Yeah you're setting yourself up for failure doing a early decision. Just apply regular, wait till you get your mcats in, and send an LOI to your school.

Early Decision Program

If you are considering an application to the New York Medical College through the Early Decision Program, keep in mind the following requirements:

1. You must apply through AMCAS by August 1, 2008.
2. You may only apply to this school while we are considering your Early Decision application.
3. You must have taken the MCAT prior to July 31, of that year.

We will notify you of our decision no later than October 1.
