I've been working as a hospital staff pharmacist for a year after a PGY-1 and I am interested in an ID or cardiology fellowship. Anyone has experience or suggestions finding good programs? I've been to the ACCP website but there are not that many programs listed.
Also, how do you stay competitive out of school?

I am interested in hearing an answer to this as well! Also, this may be a dumb question, but for the fellowships that require a PGY-1, does the PGY-1 need to be accredited? Or does it not matter since fellowships don't fall under ASHP standards?

Most fellowships require a PGY-1. Fellowships can be accredited by ACCP, but ACCP accreditation is not as crucial as accreditation is for PGY-1. SIDP has fellowship listings for ID. I would try to get more involved in research and get a better handle on stats. If you have more specific questions on ID fellowships, please feel free to pm me.
