Hi, I have a friend with a foreign medical degree. She's a gynaecologist/obstetrician practicing in the Middle East for the past 27 years. My question is if she can apply to a DO college and have a chance of being accepted on the basis of her PRESENT qualifications. I understand her degrees will have to be evaluated by an evaluation agency.
Is NYIT the only DO college accepting foreign graduate applications? i.e- applicants do not have to do 4 years Pre-med to get their Bachelors first, and apply as fresh undergraduates.
Any comments, ideas, advice would be appreciated. thank you.

I know PCOM also accepts international doctors in advanced standing..

Also, another option is just PASS USMLE... Kaplan has a great preparation course for those of you who already have MD degrees from foreign countries.. I know a guy who did it.. took him 2 yrs but shorter than doing it all over again...

good luck
