Applying to a residency without residency specific-LOR

Anyone have experience with applying to FM without a FM LOR? Will it be possible to land an FM residency if i did this? I have IM LORs but not FM (my second rotation and I never asked for one). My 4th years lined up won't have any FM rotations until April.

Why not go ask them... Set up a meeting with the FM PD and let them know about your interests.

Even though you don't have any FM rotations left this year, can you go spend a few days with your preceptor from your previous rotation again? Can you adjust your M4 schedule?
