Applying to FP and Med/Peds

Hey all,

One of my friends is leaning toward Med/Peds but also thinking about applying to some FP programs because he has been wavering back and forth over the past several months.

He's worried that if he does so and puts in two different personal statements, the Med/Peds programs will find out he's applying to FP also and consider him 'undecided' and possibly not as strong of a candidate. I told him they don't find out but I can't say that with 100% certainty. Do any of you have thoughts about this? Do they know you're applying to different specialties?

That's the purpose of sending individual personal statements to each program. You can make as many personal statements as you want.
