Sorry if someone has previously asked this or if this is in the wrong place... Is it okay to apply to two RA jobs at the same (large) university? I recently applied to one that's in the psychiatry department of the med school, and now have come across one in the psychology department that I'd like to apply for as well and am probably more qualified for. Of course my cover letter would be tailored to each etc., but does it look bad to apply to both? Does it even matter if they're in different departments? I just don't want them to think I'm desperately applying to whatever job offer they post. Thanks for any advice!
