I am going to apply for the medical school for 2012-2013 cycle. I am debating on postphoning my MCAT to April 28th which will give myself more time to study, but it means I will not know my score or complete my primary application unitl May 30th (vs. May 8th). I might be able to improve my score by 2 if I take on April 28th. Do you think it is a good idea to take April 28th? Or gettiing score early is more important? Thanks for any suggestions!

You can't submit your AMCAS primary until June 1st anyway so go with the extra study time if you need it.

Really! Thanks for the insight. I was looking for the date at AMCA but could not find it. Thank you!

And AMCAS doesn't release the apps to schools until late June (around June 21st)
