April versus August MCAT

I've heard different things from different people but I was just wondering does anyone know if people do better on the April or August MCAT.

Overall its the same since the test itself is scaled. However I think its rumored that people's raw scores are better on the august exam, and this is attributed to more time to study, however how truthful this is I really do not know.
