I am going to be writing an article for the next issue of the APSA newsletter. I was planning on writing a physician-scientist profile, but I'd like to do more. As the target audience of this newsletter, what would you like to read about?

how to get in!
APSA is an organization for people already in med/grad school; I don't think most of the membership would be terribly interested in this type of info. ;)

RxnMan, this brings up a good point though. Maybe there should be a premed affiliation also, like what AMSA does?

A good buddy of mine was funded on a NSF K-12 grant. He went around to the local schools and taught class, but also pushed for careers in science. It would be interesting if APSA got a few donations like that, and then gave members portions of that money as educational grants (Much like SAEM does for interest groups).
