Are ACGME surgical residencies DO friendly due to TCOM?

ACGME residencies in TX I mean.

Will TCOMers have somewhat more of an advantage when matching into competitive ACGME residencies in Texas compared to the average DO student? I am wondering because I hear TCOM is well respected in TX.

It's an individual thing and a Texas thing. TCOM is an old state school well known to most PDs in Texas.
