Are all science courses factored into sGPA or is it only your pre-req science courses?

I've heard from a few optometry students that when they applied, the schools only looked at 2 sets of GPA: cumulative, and science. They told me that for sGPA, only pre-req science courses: gen chem 1&2, physics 1&2, orgo 1, biochem 1, microbio, human anatomy/human physiology were considered. I didn't get a chance to ask them about other science courses. I have taken immunology (only UCB requires it), pharmacology and toxicology, orgo 2, research, biology seminar, and a few more upper level sciences and was wondering if they will consider these as part of sGPA.
